Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day activities of the team, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards, specifications and maintain quality control procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
Conduct regular safety training and emergency preparedness drills.
Manage the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
Provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and implement improvement plans.
Make informed decisions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Maintain clear and open communication with senior management and other departments.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Experience in the red meat industry.
- Knowledge of relevant building and environmental regulations, along with WH&S.
- Experience as a Leading Hand or supervisor.
