Lead Mechanical Engineer

ABOUT THE COMPANYIn operation for over 30 years, this 100% Australian owned company has been delivering innovative projects in the worldwide bulk materials handling industry.ABOUT THE ROLEAs the Lead Mechanical Engineer reporting directly to the Site Engineering Manager, you will provide engineering support in both office and field environments. A dynamic and autonomous role you will apply your engineering skills whether it be in the field, compiling reports, drafting proposals or providing solutions to both on-site teams and clients. The role will require you to have a strong understanding of conveyor systems and associated engineering practices utilized to design, review and assess their suitability and capability.
 
ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree in a Mechanical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within a similar role, ideally in bulk materials handling or heavy industry / mining environment.
• Demonstrated conveyor knowledge.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to strategically evaluate and solve complex problems.
• Full Driver License (Class C).
