We are seeking a highly skilled registered nurse for the position of Lead Nurse at our medical centre in Greenway ACT.

Scope:
- Provide a link between services, patients and the general practitioner by coordinating patient services
- Proven track record in improving clinical outcomes with your advanced knowledge specifically in regards to CDM/veteran affairs and Recall/ reminder systems
- Assist the general practice to improve the health outcomes of its patients by implementing, developing and providing clinical support
- Ensure standards and legislative requirements are met and maintained whilst managing the clinical environment
- Provide leadership and management support in consultation with the Practice Manager and Medical Coordinator
- Proficient in performing the clinical duties required within a General Practice setting
- Previous management experience in a general practice setting: managing the team as well as Performance & Development processes.
Essentials:
- Current unconditional registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Prior experience working in a general practice setting
- Understanding of cold chain processes
- Experience with managing clinical stock and stock ordering
- Understanding of the importance and functionality of recall processes in a general practice setting.
Desirable Characteristics:
- Nurse Immuniser
- Special interest in Care Planning
