Role Specific Responsibilities:
- Proven experience developing, implement, and direct the Planning functions on a large project
- Implement the Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures
- Ability to Analyze variances in schedule performance against the plan, and communicate the reasons for the variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project Management
- As Lead Planner, manage project schedule including critical path activities and review schedule float for schedule slippages
- Maintain working knowledge of the functionality of automated scheduling management systems
- Provide meaningful, accurate historical data capture based on applicable practices
- Lead the Development of a Baseline Execution Schedule
Required competencies/skills:
- At least 15 years of industry experience, of which 10 years should be in planning or equivalent.
- High level of proficiency in using Primavera (P6).
- Exposure to other planning software; Acumen Fuse, Risk Analysis is preferred.
- Should be able to understand overall project schedule and bigger picture.
- Experience in large scale EPCM projects in Australia
Qualifications Required:
- Engineering degree desired but not mandatory.
- Certified Primavera professional preferred but not mandatory.
