Grok’s curriculum experts provide professional learning, resources, and advice to teachers and education systems. Grok collaborates with industry and government to deliver authentic, curriculum-aligned learning experiences that teach industry-relevant skills and inspire diverse learners.

About the role

This is a newly created role within Grok. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for formulating and enacting strategy within your product line to develop and enhance customer experiences across Grok, in line with our company goals.

At Grok Academy, our customers (learners and educators) are at the centre of everything we do. To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about transforming Digital Technologies education and driving better outcomes for learners and educators.

As Product Manager, you will drive the product strategy, manage the product roadmap, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and enhancements. This role requires technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills.

This role is classified at Lead - Head level within the Grok Academy Group Enterprise Agreement.

What you’ll do

Product Strategy Development: Work with the Chief Product Officer to develop and define the product strategy, ensuring alignment with Grok’s objectives and considering identified customer needs and market trends.

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to uncover and understand customer needs and identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation. Stay updated on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs.

Product Roadmap Planning: Work with the CPO to prioritize features and enhancements based on customer research, market demands, and business priorities. Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap to guide the development process.

Product Development Oversight: Provide scaled leadership and clear direction to cross-functional squads within your Product stream, orchestrating delivery of work and driving alignment toward achieving product goals.

Team Leadership and Development: Lead a high-performing cross-functional product team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement and rallying them around a vision of success for the product. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, empowering them to grow and excel in their roles. Contribute to developing and maturing the discipline of product management at Grok and fostering a product-centric culture.

Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature updates, driving awareness, adoption, and retention.

Performance Tracking and Analysis: Own quarterly planning for your product line and establish product OKRs and metrics to measure the success of product initiatives. Monitor and analyse product performance data, gathering insights to inform future decisions and optimizations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including executives, Product Managers, engineers, designers, educators, marketers, and sales teams. Collaborate effectively to drive alignment and execution on product initiatives.

What we’re looking for

The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about education and technology and finds themselves drawn to and aligned with Grok Academy's mission, keen to make meaningful impact in the space. You have a proven track record of collaborating with and leading exceptional product teams to deliver inspiring outcomes, managing a complex roadmap, and fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.

As a master communicator, you effortlessly bridge the gap between engineering, data, design, and operations, orchestrating cross-functional collaborations to achieve big wins. Your ability to generate insights from vision, data, and user feedback guides your team towards delivering exceptional customer value and amazing experiences.

You're not just a leader; you're a proactive force, driving and owning initiatives from conception to execution with unparalleled determination. With your strategic acumen and persuasive communication skills, you navigate change with finesse, turning challenges into opportunities for growth. You embrace self-driven learning opportunities to elevate your impact and deliver outstanding results independently.

What’s in it for you:
