We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Project Engineer - Controls Systems to join our HPS team in our Perth, WA office. Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, your focus will be to lead/implement complex and standard engineering solutions, typically leading a project or undertaking the one aspect of a large project (i.e. HMI, Control or Safety applications, IT, Hardware design), to successful completion within budgeted time and cost constraints achieving required quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure that the prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget) are in place prior to commencing work.Be responsible for the technical delivery of Control Systems projects.Design and implementation of Control System projects (e.g. PCS, SIS, OT, HMI), typically using Honeywell Experion systems.Oversee the design and implementation of scope elements by other team members, Honeywell factory or suppliers to ensure the project objectives are metDetailed design of Control system architecturesDevelopment of Functional Design Specification, Detailed Design Specifications, clarifications of project scope, review of design inputs and test procedures as required.Share technical knowledge with the wider project team, supervisor, own discipline, and other engineering disciplines

Key Experience & Capabilities:

Degree in relevant engineering discipline (e.g.: Instrument & Control, Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronics or Chemical Engineering).Design, engineering, installation, and commissioning experience of Control SystemsProject experience as an Engineer in at least one of the following vertical markets: Oil and Gas, Refining or Mining and Material Handling.8+ years of applicable project experience

Advantageous

Experience with DCS (Honeywell), Safety Systems (Honeywell), industrial wireless networks is advantageous.Knowledge in design, implementation and support of Safety SystemsTÜV Certification
