We are currently recruiting for a Lead Mechanical Engineer with an oil and gas design engineering background to join our team. We are currently delivering projects for a range of clients in the Green Energy space. These projects include and are not limited to Hydrogen and Waste to Energy Projects.
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance of design products with the Design Procedure for self and others.
- Produce design products that comply with applicable legislation, standards, client, third party and project requirements.
- Ensure technical compliance of design products.
- Ensure design products are delivered in accordance with the project schedule and budget.
- Ensure designs are fit for purpose and consider all aspects including, cost, constructability, operability and maintainability.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (recognised by IEAust).
- 10+ years design engineering experience in the oil and gas sector.
- Knowledge and practical application of relevant industry codes of practice.
- Ability to rapidly understand and assimilate project and client specific requirements.
- Advanced knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices.
- Advanced level of expertise in technical detail of Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience leading a team of engineering design professionals.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively within a multi-discipline environment.
- Proven ability to work autonomously or as a part of team.
- Strong problem-solving and planning skills.
