About the job:
As a Lead Reporting Analyst, you will partner with our Customer Community & Engagement business unit to provide business and technical solutions that meet the requirements and strengthen SA Water's revenue and performance reporting. You will also support our data management capabilities, including analytics, business intelligence, and data warehousing.
Your responsibilities for this opportunity include:
- Maintain consistency of financial data across systems and ensure effective internal controls for data integrity.
- Develop strong relationships with key partners to consolidate and analyse data from multiple sources.
- Provide accurate monthly performance reports in a timely manner.
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and lead the implementation of improvements in processes and reporting.
- Develop forecast models to predict water sales and enhance business performance management.
- Stay updated with technology advancements and facilitate the adoption of new technology capabilities within the business.
- Tertiary qualification in IT, Business or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated experience as a data analyst/modeller in a large commercial environment
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Access, Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI
- Proficiency in SQL and knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Azure Machine Learning Studio, and Big Data technologies (Desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (Desirable)
- Experience with master data management tools and technologies is a plus
