The Lead Structural Engineer role provides the opportunity to take charge structural integrity and structural remediation projects.
The successful candidate will have an interest/demonstrated experience in being a conduit between clients and engineering teams, which will include the need for frequent site visits as determined by the project(s).
Key Skills / Requirements:
- Relevant Bachelors of Engineering (Civil/Structural) Degree, recognised by the Institute of Engineers (Australia)
- Structural engineering experience from scoping studies through to execution
- Proven leadership skills that would allow you to supervise the workload and professional/personal development of a team of engineers
- Strong experience in structural integrity and structural remediation projects within mining mineral processing
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and develop strong working relationships
- Experience in collaborating with drafting department to produce drawing outputs
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills for multiple concurrent designs in progress; ability to re-arrange and interrupt work
