Lead Structural Engineer

Wave International is an independent consulting firm specialising in Engineering, Project Delivery and Asset Management services across Australia and overseas.  Our clients cover the full spectrum of private and public enterprise, servicing the energy and resources, infrastructure, water, environment and urban development sectors.

The Lead Structural Engineer role provides the opportunity to take charge structural integrity and structural remediation projects. 

The successful candidate will have an interest/demonstrated experience in being a conduit between clients and engineering teams, which will include the need for frequent site visits as determined by the project(s).
  
Key Skills / Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelors of Engineering (Civil/Structural) Degree, recognised by the Institute of Engineers (Australia) 
• Structural engineering experience from scoping studies through to execution
• Proven leadership skills that would allow you to supervise the workload and professional/personal development of a team of engineers
• Strong experience in structural integrity and structural remediation projects within mining mineral processing 
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and develop strong working relationships
• Experience in collaborating with drafting department to produce drawing outputs
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Highly developed organisational and time management skills for multiple concurrent designs in progress; ability to re-arrange and interrupt work
