Specific Criteria

- Be passionate about working with young people
- Have knowledge of and demonstrated experience teaching Years 7 - 12 Religion courses
- Help create and embed an excellent school-wide learning culture that promotes high expectations and academic rigour.
- Apply and embed evidence-based practices to inform teaching, learning, assessment, and programs.
- Help build a culture of high-performing staff who showcase best practices in teaching and learning.
- Provide opportunities for staff to continue developing their capacity to work together and collaborate.
- Ensure authentic relationships between staff, students and families to enhance partnerships that support student outcomes.

Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a four-year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four-year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.

Position on COVID-19 vaccinations
Given the current management of risks associated with COVID-19 in the community, and the gradual wind-back of some settings, CSBB has decided to no longer require all staff to be fully vaccinated, effective 19 September 2022. Staff who are not vaccinated will be required to wear masks when working with children at greater risk of serious illness owing to a medical condition and/or physical disability.
