Due to growing enrolments and a strategic restructure, Gleeson College is excited to invite applications from suitably qualified professionals for a permanent Teacher and new Position of Responsibility (POR 3 – Leader of Middle Years Pastoral Care), commencing in January 2025. This position will support the College Leadership team and House Leadership team in leading student development in the Middle Years at Gleeson College
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Their ability to oversee Middle Years House Leaders in all facets of their work of developing the wellbeing and personal responsibility of students.
- Their ability to provide educational leadership to staff and students regarding Pastoral Care and student welfare.
- Evidence of effective leadership, teamwork and collaboration.
- Their ability to support the Catholic ethos of Gleeson College.
- Their commitment to supporting and representing the ethos of our Catholic College as outlined in the Gleeson 10 and the Gleeson Staff 5.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, families, external providers, colleagues and the wider community.

The POR component is for a fixed term of four years and is offered in accordance with the SA Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2020 (as amended or updated).
