Are you a skilled and motivated Carpenter / Leading Hand looking to elevate your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for you to step into a Leading Hand / Junior Foreman role. Working on a multi million dollar project in inner city areas glebe Surry hills camperdown. You will be supported in your development and moulded into a great builder. 

Responsibilities:

• Help manage the day-to-day operations of the construction site along with the Project Manager 
• Ensure that all work is carried out safely, within budget and to a high standard
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure the project runs smoothly
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure that all workers comply with health and safety regulations
• Monitor progress and report weekly to the Project Manager
• Manage project schedules, budgets and resources with the PM 

Requirements:

• At least 2 years' experience in a Carpenter / Leading Hand role 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Eagerness to learn and develop 
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of construction laws and regulations
