Responsibilities:
- Oversee on-site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols/SWMS, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Provide hands-on expertise in carpentry, plastering and the installation of doors, ceilings and partitions alongside the construction team.
- Read and understand construction drawings and plans and attend daily site meetings.
- Coordinate with our team members, suppliers, and other site supervisors to optimize workflow and ensure productivity.
- Assess workmanship, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Keep accurate records of progress, materials, and expenses, reporting updates to project managers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience or similar role, with a focus on commercial construction projects.
- Strong proficiency in carpentry and plastering, particularly in the installation of ceilings and partitions, doors, frames and hardware, and aluminium partition systems.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to drive, motivate and mentor a diverse team.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and safety regulations.
- Effective communication skills for clear coordination and reporting.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
