About the Position
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Operational Engineering Maintenance team!
We are currently seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic and skilled individual to join us, who has demonstrated industry experience in road, drainage and infrastructure asset maintenance.
The position is suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and may be required to work in high traffic and congested areas, where safety is an important aspect of the position when operating and maintaining tools, plant, and other equipment such as trucks, skid steers, quick cut saws and rollers.
The successful appointee will be responsible for:
- Leading an Engineering Maintenance team
- Operating and maintaining tools, plant and equipment
- Undertaking road, drainage and maintenance of the City's road infrastructure assets
About You
As a collaborative member of the Operational Engineering Maintenance team, the successful appointee should be adaptable and thrive working in a very busy and change driven organisation. As such, applicants must be able to demonstrate through their resume and covering letter that they meet the following essential criteria:
- Experience in leading a maintenance team.
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of multi-function plant and equipment.
- Experience in Engineering Maintenance procedures.
- Experience in the efficient utilisation of information systems and technology.
- Knowledge of the practical application of Occupational Health and safety measures. in the workplace including hazard identification in Engineering Maintenance activities
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management and Traffic Controller Qualification.
- MR class vehicle licence.
- Safety awareness certification (Blue/White card).
