About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Leading Hand to work on the delivery of multiple infrastructure works across the Cadia Integrated Tailings Project. Work includes bulk and detailed earthworks, haul road construction and maintenance and drainage installation.
These are full-time positions with flights, food and accommodation provided. Chartered flights provided from Brisbane Airport. The work is on an 8/6 FIFO roster.

Responsibilities will include
- Understanding and monitoring of OHS and environmental requirements.
- Arrangement of plant, labour, and material resources for project.
- Direction and monitoring of subcontractors, supplier, and plant hire.
- Daily monitoring of site activity costs.
- Maintain compliance with construction program.
- Maintain daily record of site activities.
- Ensure the site supervisor's quality expectations are being met.
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Minimum 2 years' experience in successfully leading civil construction projects.
- Construction White Card
- Relevant "from the ground up" civil construction experience in a Leading Hand capacity
- Exceptional individual and team leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interpret plans and standards;
- Accurate record keeping
- Good communication skills with all stakeholders
- Ability to deliver tasks within the required time frames.
- Be a great team player.
- A commitment to developing and maintaining a culture of safety and health above all else.
