Leading Hand Welder
Responsibilities:
Take a hands-on approach in overseeing day-to-day operations, collaborating closely with supervisors and management to ensure the successful completion of awarded contracts.
Provide leadership and guidance to teams, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
Execute tasks related to mechanical, diesel fitting, and machining in accordance with project requirements.
Maintain a strong commitment to health and safety protocols, ensuring the well-being of all personnel.
Essential Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams effectively.
- Possession of a valid White Card.
- Relevant trade qualifications, certificates, and licenses.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-trade experience.
- Current driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks consistently.
- Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
- Proficiency in managing teams and working well with small crews.
Desirable skills (Not mandatory):
- Confined Space Entry certification.
- Fire Sentry Training.
- High-Risk Forklift license.
- Immediate availability to commence work.
- Experience in commercial and Defence marine vessel projects.
