AddressLEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT CONTENT CREATOR
This is a remote, part time position for a fixed term of 6 months.
Design, develop and deliver engaging and informative content tailored to enhance the skills and knowledge of Hamilton Island Employees.
Your Role
- Create comprehensive training materials including manuals, presentations, videos and e-learning modules
- Research industry trends, best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure training content remains compliant
- Collaborate with training specialists and department heads to identify learning needs and establish learning objectives
- Utilise instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create engaging and effective learning experiences
- Organise and maintain a centralised repository of training materials, ensuring easy accessibility and version control for all stakeholders
- Regularly review and update existing content to reflect changes in policies, procedures, technologies and industry standards
- Design assessment tools and evaluation mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of training programs and gather feedback from participants
- Analyse training metrics and feedback data to identify areas or improvement and make recommendations for future training iniatives
About You
- Proven experience (minimum three years) in content creation, curriculum development, and instructional design, preferably within the hospitality industry (Essential)
- Relevant qualifications in Hospitality Management, Education, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field (Essential)
- Relevant certification in instructional design or training development (Desirable)
- Proficiency in multimedia authoring tools, learning management systems (LMS), and other e-learning development software eg. Articulate 360 or similar (Essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Essential)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously (Essential)
- Passion for Learning and staying abreast of emerging trends and innovations in training and Development (Essential)
- Videography and editing experience, including reviewing audio and visual footage (Desirable)
