Do you have a passion for helping others learn, and a desire to be part of a globally diverse team? We have fantastic opportunity in our Global Operational & Technical Training team for Learning Consultant to join the team on full time basis.
Our Global Talent, Learning & Development (TL&D) team, is responsible for developing and delivering learning and performance solutions to support our people to be successful. We ensure the successful onboarding of our new employees, help them progress by enhancing knowledge and skills as well as playing a key role in important business projects critical to the success of the business. We provide an engaging learning experience to our people, helping them to develop and to deliver a quality service to our customers and clients. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Engage and partner with our business stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify current and needed skills for employees to perform successfully in their role
- Work on the design, development, deployment, and evaluation of learning and performance solutions for the global business unit you are supporting
- Work with the rest of the team to ensure our current learning and performance solutions remain relevant and continue to help our people be successful
- Facilitate in-class at our Headquarters or virtual workshops, ensuring we provide an engaging and inclusive environment
What will you bring to the role?
You will bring a real passion for learning and an eagerness to share that passion with others; a proven ability to understand and convey business priorities, influence, and gain leadership commitment to get the best outcome.
You will be flexible in your approach to handle the unique challenges faced when working in a global team across multiple time zones. This is not a typical 9-5 role, but that's what makes it so exciting - being part of a global business!
Other key skills required for the role include:
- Relevant experience in a Learning, Teaching or Coaching role
- Aware of and adapts to cultural differences
- Ability to manage your time and your priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred but not essential:
- Fluent with adult learning strategies, instructional design theories and evaluation methodologies
- IV in Training and Assessment certificate or equivalent
- Knowledge of best practices in learning and development, including familiarity of facilitating systems training in a virtual environment
- Fluency in use of virtual working/training tools
