Some background for you:
This global privately owned manufacturing company is celebrating over 50 years in Australia. They are currently experiencing growth across the Asia Pacific region with their market leading products used by a variety of industries and are looking for a talented Learning & Development Manager to take the lead with their established L & D team who work very closely with IT.

The role:
This high profile and highly visible role within the organisation interacts with everyone from GM and Director level to admin and warehousing. You will be responsible for all aspects of training and the induction program for the Asia-Pacific Region.

This includes the leadership and management of the trainers and training coordinators as well as planning, designing, developing, implementing and delivering training to internal employees. Your focus will be around the ERP system but will work across other Business Systems and processes as well. A future SAP implementation is in the pipeline so you will be instrumental in the successful training for this and other projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring training programs align with the strategic direction of the business
• Management of trainers and training coordinators to ensure the learning needs of the business are met
• Manage induction programs for all new employees
• Conduct and interpret training needs analysis
• Developing short e-learning courses
• Developing and delivering face to face and through video conferencing classroom training sessions
• Developing course materials including handouts, manuals and assessment tools
• Developing training plans and programs

Your Skills:

• 2 years + experience as an L & D Manager
• Business Systems Training experience specifically with ERP or other complex Business Systems
• An understanding of business processes
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Energetic and motivated attitude towards training
• The ability to work in a team and autonomously
