Your opportunity
Reporting to the Deputy Principal Curriculum and Innovation via the Coordinator Learning Enhancement and Support the successful candidate will join a passionate team of highly committed and Supportive teaching professionals.
You will play a vital role in the delivery of our Learning Enhancement and Support program to our Middle and Senior School students with diverse learning needs. Apply your professional knowledge, practice and engagement to:
- Provide individual support to students with varying learning abilities.
- Develop and implement learning strategies and interventions.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other stakeholders to create inclusive and engaging teaching and learning experiences.
- Assess students’ progress and adapt support accordingly.
- Offer guidance to students, parents and colleagues regarding available resources.
- Communicate effectively to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
This permanent full-time appointment, commences as soon as possible.
You will have:
- Queensland College of Teachers registration
- Experience in the provision of high quality Learning Enhancement and Support programs
- Highly developed classroom teaching skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Skills and sensitivity in communicating with parents, students and other employees
- An ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in EAL/D is preferred but not essential
