About the Role:The Learning Facilitator's primary focus is to support program delivery areas by ensuring student welfare, occupational health and safety obligations, duty of care requirements, and attendance and student engagement records are maintained. It is vital that these records are captured, maintained and recorded in a timely manner as these records drive our funding under the Skills First Contract and various fee for service projects.
Please note this role is based at a number of Melbourne Polytechnic campuses, with travel between sites required.
Duties:- Training in Melbourne Polytechnic systems, including Markbook and Strata.
- Input all paper based data into relevant systems.
- Ensure timeliness of data entry, meeting requested deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Support any requests that require immediate attention to student welfare or occupational health and safety.
- Take and mark attendance of students, in accordance with agreed procedures and standards.
- Report Markbook errors to Program Leader/Administration Team Leader for rectification.
- Maintain and process documentation, records and data.
- Maintain confidentiality of information and ensure that all documentation is securely filed and stored.
- Maintain a high level of data entry accuracy, ensuring the data is correct and entered into the system correctly.

Skills and Experience Required:- Proven experience in providing administrative support.
- Proven experience in a data entry position (preferred).
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee) and Current National Police Check - mandatory.
- Current Drivers License.
- Excellent computer skills, with the ability to learn and utilise new systems.
- Demonstrated experience and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Proven excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Relevant qualifications - at a minimum of Certificate level in Business Administration or related discipline, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
