Education and Learning Programs Facilitator

Yakult Australia is a global leader in probiotics, manufacturing and marketing the unique fermented milk drink, ‘Yakult’. Sales have grown substantially in Australia since 1994. We operate in all states of Australia, with our head office and state-of-the-art manufacturing plant located in Victoria.
An opportunity currently exists to join the Yakult Australia Public Relations team as an Education and Learning Programs Facilitator, at our Head Office in Dandenong. The role will report to the Head of the Public Relations Department.
Yakult Australia will provide on-the-job training and product knowledge. We are after someone with an interest in facilitating tours and presentations, eligible for a working with children check, and ideally with experience in Education and training.
Hours of Work
8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week, plus a half hour unpaid lunch break).
Key duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Leading, promoting, and enhancing the Yakult Australia schools and education program by conducting internal site tours, external school visits (primary, secondary, and tertiary) and through the establishment and maintenance of suitable educational resources.
- Providing talks and educational presentations for all age groups as well as liaising with teachers.
- Being the first point of contact for client enquiries regarding educational bookings, helping to provide information to clients about our services, and coordination of bookings as required.
- Represent Yakult as and when required at health professional and consumer conferences.
- End to end delivery of events, which includes bookings, planning, coordinating, delivery, evaluating, and report on the outcomes.
- Provide insight and direction in the area of education program following current education guidelines. Evaluate the effectiveness of all education activities and provide recommendations on the direction of educational activities.
- Strengthening brand awareness through communicating Education and brand content via digital media. Create and form ideas and topics for social media as a department.
- Ordering and creation of educational materials, resources, and merchandise.
- Responding to written, phone, and online enquiries concerning Yakult Australia including product composition and benefits.
- Assisting in receiving and resolving customer enquiries and complaints.
