What your days might look like
As a Learning Specialist, you’ll work closely with the Head of Performance Operations in a rare opportunity to redefine and revolutionise our work processes. This role will be a critical piece of Employment Hero’s new Launch team, responsible for restructuring and aligning our practices with the Employment Hero way. Your focus will be on delivering an exceptional employee experience and directly impacting our company culture.
In this greenfield role, you will design, develop, and deliver comprehensive learning programs that accelerate Employment Hero’s progress towards our BHAG. By enhancing capabilities aligned with the EH Way, you will foster a culture of high performance and growth within Employment Hero.
As a Learning Specialist, you’ll be:
Learning and Development:
- Design, develop, and deliver a variety of training programs, including onboarding, technical skills, soft skills, and leadership development aligned with our Performance Ops priorities.
- Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and learning needs across the organisation.
- Utilise various methods and technologies to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Design and deliver learning pathways geared toward upskilling all Heroes in critical competencies aligned to the EH Way.
Program Design and Implementation:
- Develop curriculum and course materials that align with Performance Operations and EH’s objectives.
- Work with our People Operations team to design and deliver our EH Boot Camp.
- Facilitate workshops, seminars, and other learning events to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Performance Support:
- Work with the Head of a Performance Operations to align learning programs to our performance optimisation approach.
- Develop resources and tools to help Heroes and their leaders improve their performance and achieve KPIs.
Drive Go1:
- Manage our Go1 LMS, including course creation, user management, and reporting.
- Track and report on training participation and completion rates, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organisational Development, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in learning and development or a related role.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering successful training programs.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using various learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
- Ability to analyse data and metrics to inform decision-making and improve learning programs.
