An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Learning Support Officer to join our beautiful community at Corpus Christi School for the remainder of the 2024 school year. The position is for approximately 21 - 27 hours, five days per week (negotiable).
Applicants need to have a keen interest in supporting children with their learning and a commitment to working with special needs students.
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate their ability to work as a collaborative team member with all stakeholders throughout our broader school community.
Applicants for this position should demonstrate:
- a commitment to Catholic Education and the well-being and safety of students
- a commitment to the Child Safe policy of the school
- the ability to work closely with others.
The successful applicant will:
- take direction from the Learning Diversity Leader to implement Personal Learning Plans
- assist students either individually or in a group
- provide physical, social and emotional care for students
- liaise regularly with teaching staff with regard to student needs
- be flexible in dealing with the changing and diverse needs of individual students
- assist with playground supervision
- have a Working with Children's Check, a National Police Check and up-to-date vaccination.
