About the Role
Brisbane Girls Grammar School seeks a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Teacher (Secondary) with a comprehensive understanding of providing exceptional Learning Support for students, particularly those with identified learning needs.

The key accountabilities of our Learning Support Teachers include the following:
assisting with the identification of learning needs through collaborative engagement with teachers
supporting academic staff in developing appropriate strategies to suit students' individual learning needs
utilising effective strategies to support students in class, in small groups, and individually
monitoring student outcomes and providing feedback to relevant academic staff
assisting with the adjustment processes for NAPLAN and AARA
active involvement in the Academic, Student Care (including House Group), Outdoor Education and Co-Curricular Programs, as they are pivotal to the holistic development of each student.
You will also have:
relevant teaching qualifications and experience teaching in a secondary
knowledge of processes relating to the diverse learning needs of students, including disability issues, Verification, Education Adjustment Program, NCCD, individual programming, diagnostic testing, and data collection
extensive knowledge of teaching strategies to achieve optimal learning outcomes for students
excellent technological literacy
the ability to work collaboratively and energetically within a high-performing school culture
current Queensland College of Teachers registration (or eligibility to apply).
