We are currently seeking a Lecturer, Physiotherapy (Cardiorespiratory focus), and Lecturer, Physiotherapy (Neurological focus) to contribute to the design and development of new curriculum within the new Master of Physiotherapy program.You will be responsible for contributing to the clinical education program by developing industry engagement, leading teaching and learning activities within the Master of Physiotherapy program and advancing your scholarly, research and/or professional capabilities.To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver high quality curriculum at a postgraduate level, inclusive of contemporary teaching and learning approaches.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the design and development of clinical education programs that engage with health providers and industry with authenticity and equip graduates to be "Ready for Life and Ready for Work".
- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively and sensitively with students especially on issues related to effective learning and optimisation of outcomes related to work readiness.
- Emerging track record and recognition for quality research within a discipline in Physiotherapy contributing to existing Program and School research areas as evidenced by output.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise higher degree by research candidates.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communications skills for interacting with students, higher degree by research candidates, staff and industry, together with a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Mandatory: PhD in a relevant field, and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency in the discipline of Physiotherapy (AHPRA) without conditions.Please Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
About the GroupThe School of Health and Biomedical Sciences comprises three Academic areas (Allied Health, Applied Health, and Biomedical Sciences).
