Lecturer, Social Work And Human Services (Academic Level A)

• Based in UniSA Justice & Society at the Magill campus
• Full-time, continuing position
• Commencement Salary: $74,385 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role  

The position of Lecturer: Social Work & Human Services is responsible for the development, delivery, and coordination of courses within the undergraduate and postgraduate programs in social work and human services  

You will contribute independently and as part of a team to support the Academic Unit’s teaching and research outcomes and to carry out activities to maintain and develop their scholarly, research and/or professional activities.

The position of Lecturer: Social Work & Human Services (Academic Level A) is a balanced 40:40:20 position, of 40% teaching, 40% research/scholarship and 20% administrative activities.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and deliver courses in a range of areas including the design and delivery of courses for on campus and online modalities 
• Work collaboratively and reciprocally with staff across the University and relevant partner organisations to ensure that courses contain quality content and represent contemporary practice and theory 
• Support academic leadership to promote the Academic Unit’s teaching and learning initiatives 
• Enhance the research profile of the Academic Unit by contributing to research and scholarly activity relevant to social work and human services

Essential Skills and Experience

• Under-graduate or post-graduate qualification aligned with Social Work and Human Services 
• Demonstrated capacity and commitment to high quality, flexible teaching and learning outcomes, in both traditional and contemporary modes of delivery 
• A developing research record and experience in the preparation of research grant applications
