Lecturers in Business Administration (MBA) positions are available in 2024 at our Geelong campus. These positions report directly to the Executive Dean /Dean of Business Studies. Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent, an outstanding record of teaching relevant to the advertised positions below, enthusiasm for educating international students in Higher Education, a record of scholarly engagement in a relevant discipline and experience working collaboratively with partner organizations, industry and community groups.

Candidates should be able to teach multiple units across Bachelor's and Master’s Degrees. Preference will be given to those who are able to teach in the following areas:

Candidates should be able to teach face-to-face and online MBA students, teach to camera, teach online and support multiple cohorts of students at multiple locations. Candidates should be able to teach across at least two of the following:
- Supply Chain Management and Operations Management
- Organisational Sustainability and Decision making
- Human Resource Management
- Organisation Behaviour Management
- Marketing/ Strategy and Innovation
- Quality Management
- Project Management
- Decision making and quantitative analysis
- Investment Management
- Financial Analysis
- Corporate Finance
- Management Accounting and Finance Management
Person Specifications:
- PhD in Business or DBS or related discipline, preceded by a degree in Business, Accounting, Commerce or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of Higher Education postgraduate teaching experience in Australia or Professional experience in the relevant field for minimum 3 years.
- Strong courseware development skills are essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills especially with online and blended students.
- Course administration and coordination experience is essential.
- Strong I.T. skills (especially the MS Office suite of applications)
- Australian FULL work rights are essential.
Desirable
- Good knowledge of academic-related administration in a university setup is advantageous.
- Professional or hands-on industry experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Post graduate level units face to face, to camera and online.
- Conduct tutorials and webinars and support student learning through active communication and consulting.
- Carry out assessment marking and maintain academic records.
- Prepare/Develop quality learning materials that can support a multi-mode blended learning environment.
- Undertake course management, co-ordination and administration tasks in areas of student recruitment, student progress, examinations, QA records management etc.
- Provide pastoral care and support to students.
- Participation in designated committee activities as required.
- Other duties as required
Travel:
Inter campus travel at short notice as required.
