We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our Support Hub team working primarily with our Family Law team.
Our Support Hub model ensures our Legal Assistants are given engaging work at an appropriate level while making sure they are well supported by a team of likeminded peers.
As our Legal Assistant you will be responsible for proactively assisting our lawyers to deliver a high standard of legal services to clients. Some of the typical duties are:
- General administration - including word processing, document creation, filing, scanning, printing, organising postage and couriers.
- Matter related processing - including opening and closing matters, client billing, searches, producing engagement letters, trust statements, basic letters and lodging documents.
- Practice support - including day to day practice administration, scheduling appointments and diary management.
- Client service - including answering phone calls, managing events, managing client portals, reporting, CRM administration and new client onboarding.
We need an individual who has a strong work ethic, a proactive approach to daily matters, excellent organisational and prioritisation skills and experience working in a busy practice. If you have a passion for excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail and professional client/customer service, we recommend you apply to join our team.
Previous Family Law experience is not necessary but highly advantageous.
