Due to growth, a great opportunity is now available for an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant/Law Clerk to join this well regarded mid tier law firm who put their staff first and who pride themselves on their down to earth nature and work/life balance.
In this interesting role you will be an integral part of their professional and vibrant Public Law and Regulatory Law team, where your duties will include (among other things):-
- preparing and typing legal papers and correspondence
- preparing subpoenas and arranging service
- preparing briefs for hearings
- liaising with clients, barristers, principals, interpreters and solicitors
- other tasks as required
- a minimum of 3 years legal secretarial experience in litigation law is essential
- advanced word processing skills with high attention to detail
- a flexible attitude and an ability to work under pressure
- ability to work as part of a busy, friendly team
- knowledge of Elite, FileSite also preferable, but not essential, and knowledge of Caseflow highly regarded
