About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised Legal Assistant to join and support our Legal Team. This role is ideal for a student currently completing their degree in law or related field. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our team to gain valuable experience in a professional office setting.
Responsibilities will include:
- Draft preliminary documents for review
- Administer document registries
- Assist in legal research as required
- Review, evaluate and amend legal documents including policies, procedures, forms, and guidance materials to ensure they are effective, current, and compliant with legislation
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on various matters relating to the compliance and operation of G’day Group properties
About you
- Currently completing or have recently completed a Bachelor of Law or related degree
- Understanding of, State based residential tenancy and general property law, Basic corporate law principles and Contract law
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Detail orientated and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-discipline environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn, with the ability to learn new tasks quickly
