AddressRole Description
The key function of the Finance & Billings Officer role is to provide support and assistance to the Finance Manager, who attends to all financial matters related to the running of the firm’s professional services practice. This role is responsible for the Billings & Collections of the firm, which includes co-ordination of the firm monthly billing process, assisting with delivering efficient, cost-effective and consistent collection processes, and managing resolution of client billing queries in a timely manner. This position also extends to working with other team members (outside of the Finance Manager) to maintain fundamental administrative functions necessary to maintain business operations in accordance with the firm’s policies and procedures, and work collaboratively with Professional Staff to extract efficiencies where possible.
Additional support to the Finance Manager for other finance tasks will also be allocated to ensure a spread of tasks and exposure to all other aspects of financial administration within the business. This shall include working with Senior Professional Staff to help them and their teams achieve their KPIs, managing budgets within the firm, and providing support to payroll and other bookkeeping functions.

Prerequisite Experience
- Prior experience with debt collection
- Relevant knowledge of administration, accounting and professional services business practice
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite
- Proficiency in MYOB or similar
- Proficiency in LEAP Practice Management System or similar
