  • Advise on, and lead legal workstreams for, mergers and acquisitions, transformations and other strategic projects from time-to-time;
  • Advise on intellectual property rights and privacy risks and solutions;
  • Advise on competition law, consumer law and privacy law matters, plus assist with training in respect of same;
  • Assist with implementation of Legal Technology and AI Solutions for Legal Team.
  • Assist with simplification of contract templates and review, approval and signing processes for all legal matters;
  • Partnering with the business on day-to-day issues to ensure risks are appropriately identified and considered in all aspects of the business from supply, commercial, marketing, innovation, finance and HR;
  • Guide and develop junior lawyers, secondees and contractors from time-to-time.

What will you bring to the table?

  • 5 - 7 years PQE;
  • In-house experience preferred;
  • Able to ensure that local business needs are met and stakeholder expectations are adequately clarified, aligned and met;

  • Experience in consumer product business preferred;
  • Experience in consumer law, competition law and employment law beneficial;

  • Advances strategic objectives and thinks outside of the box;
  • Enjoys experimenting, learning, failing fast, and iterating at pace;
  • Prioritises speed and agility over perfection and rhetoric;
  • High integrity and earns trust from business partners;
  • Uses experience to focus on key issues and thinks ahead to anticipate potential problems;
  • Thrives and enjoy working in a fast moving and challenging environment;
  • Must be able to multitask and instinctively able to deal with a wide range of contacts (internal colleagues, external suppliers, key stakeholders);
