Boutique Financial Services industry body seeks a Legal Secretary to provide support to committees and working groups on a permanent basis.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Arrange all meetings, including venues, dates, times, and all other resources needed for the meetings
- Prepare agendas for meetings, including a ‘future agendas’ pipeline
- Distribute agendas and all other associated papers, presentations, etc. for the meeting
- Take minutes of meetings, ensuring timely completion and review by the Chair, and distribution
- Call for and manage nominations for committees / working groups
- Respond to all member enquiries promptly
- Maintain accurate information relating to committees / working groups
- Collation of client information / status – and production of program status reports
- Collation of content for other publications and newsletters
SKILLS & CAPABILITIES REQUIRED
- 2+ years’ experience in a Legal Secretary role
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience
- Demonstrable secretariat skills and experience
- Ability to contribute to the governance of various projects
- Working with internal and external stakeholders of all levels of seniority
- Superior written and verbal communication
- Group facilitation
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and skills
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to deal with and meet constant and short deadlines and changing priorities
- Fluent English skills and full Australian working rights
