Receptionist / Legal Assistant - Part Time
The Business
Pacific Law is well established firm, located in beautiful new offices near Sunshine Plaza in Maroochydore. We have recently merged with Garland Waddington Solicitors and are looking to add to our growing team.
This is an opportunity to join a successful law firm that provides a range of legal services for clients as diverse as property developers, corporate clients, bodies corporate, local government, business, professionals, investors and retirees.
The Position
As the first point of contact for the firm, this position plays an important role in our client service experience. It is also fundamental to the smooth operations of the office, and for providing general support to our professional and support staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Receiving calls and emails, and directing them as required.
- Meeting and greeting clients and visitors.
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail.
- Processing client payments and banking.
- Photocopying, scanning, filing and archiving.
- Word processing, spreadsheets and presentations.
- Data entry in to the firm’s software programs.
- Various administration tasks as required.
Skills/Experience/Attributes
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service standards.
- Handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Follow instructions and be responsive to all requests.
- Confident, well presented and works well with others.
- Use of computer, accounting and practice management software.
- Professional service experience an advantage but not essential.
