About the Role
- Draft, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence related to planning and environmental matters;
- Maintain and manage calendars, scheduling appointments, meetings, and court dates;
- Assist in the preparation of reports, submissions, and advice on planning and environmental compliance;
- Coordinate communications between the legal team, clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders; and
- Manage billing and invoicing processes.
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Planning & Environment, Litigation or similar legal practice;
- Strong working knowledge of legal procedures and documentation specific to planning and environmental law;
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills;
- High proficiency in MS Office and legal database software;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; and
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and discretion.
