OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting part-time (o.6 - 0.8 FTE) opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join our Private Clients Team (Family Law) based out of our Melbourne CBD office. In this role you’ll be responsible for:
- Extensive diary and inbox management
- Preparation of correspondence and Court documents
- Liaising with Barristers, Mediators, Experts and Court Administrators
- Client liaison and management including arranging meetings and teleconferences
- Typing of memos, letters of advice, articles and comments
- Time entry and billing
- Scanning, filing and general administration
ABOUT YOU
You will have:
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- A strong commitment to excellence in client service
- Great computer literacy skills including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of apps
- Demonstrated experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably within a Family Law or Litigation practice
You will also be:
- A self-motivated individual capable of working independently
- A team player who can take direction and foster professional internal relationships

The successful applicant will be required to undertake and satisfy a National Police Records Check.
