About the role
Due to growth in our practice groups, we have multiple exciting opportunities available for Legal Secretaries to join our Property and Public Law teams!
You will be working with our high performing secretarial teams to provide clerical and administrative support to Partners and a number of junior and senior lawyers.
You will be responsible for:
- Coordination of meetings and internal/external functions
- Opening and closing of matters including e-filing and physical archiving via Aderant Expert (billing) and iManage (document management) systems
- Time entry and preparation of monthly high volume billing
- Creating, drafting, editing, and formatting a range of legal correspondence and documents
- Reconciling expenses for authors on a monthly basis and
- All other general ad hoc administrative duties
About you
To be suited to this position you will be a team player who prides themselves in exceeding all expectations and thoroughly enjoy working in a high energy, busy environment. You will have 2-3 years of experience working in a similar position within a high-volume practice. Further skills that you will need to demonstrate include:
- An understanding of litigious procedures and legal terminology
- Competent technical ability using Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of Aderant Exert for billing is advantageous
- The ability to produce accurate, high-quality work within set timeframes
- A strong attention to detail
- Experience in diary management
- A personable, collaborative, and friendly disposition.
