They are a multi-partner boutique law firm that practises in property and commercial law, insolvency, employment law and litigation. They have offices located in the heart of Perth's CBD on St Georges Terrace and on the waterfront in Bunbury.
The role
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Secretary with a minimum of 2 years' experience to work at their Perth office on a full time permanent basis in our expanding litigation and employment practice.
Your duties will initially include, but not be limited to:
file management including opening/closing files and electronic filing;
preparing, formatting and amending legal correspondence and court documents;
online lodgements through various online portals;
client liaison and diary management; and
general administration tasks as required.
About you
To be successful in this role, strong organisational skills are essential. You must be friendly, easy going and work well in a team environment. You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally in litigation.
In addition, you will:
be proactive and able to work unsupervised;
have excellent grammar, spelling and attention to detail;
have a fast and accurate typing speed;
be proficient in Microsoft Office; and
be willing to learn and develop new skills.
