ERH provides a comprehensive range of acute, medical, surgical and sub-acute services plus residential aged care and a broad range of community healthcare services. With a strong focus on increasing our capacity as a sub-regional teaching health service, Echuca Regional Health employees are dedicated professionals who strive to deliver the best possible care to their community.
Applications are sought from suitably qualified Leisure and Lifestyle workers to work in a Coordination role within Glanville Village – Residential Aged Care department at Echuca Regional Health.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work with residents to compile, evaluate and deliver leisure programs for all of Glanville’s resident.
- Develop a dementia specific programs in consultation with Case Manager for dementia residents
- Maintain core competence specific to the area of practice.
- Act as a patient advocate
- Actively participate in in-house education and training programs
Our team requires someone who has:
- Relevant qualifications and/or be working towards the same
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Commitment to conduct high quality and appropriate leisure sessions for residents and to report any concerns in a timely manner
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skill
- High level interpersonal skills
