The Position
Due to ongoing growth across the business, we are seeking an experienced L1/2 IT Support Technician to join our expanding team.
Key tasks & responsibilities
- Providing technical support to end users in person onsite.
- Checking/maintaining backups and schedules.
- Interpreting technical logs and reports.
- Managing Windows workstations & servers in a domain environment.
- Network printer and photocopier configuration.
- Wireless AP management and installation, wireless bridging.
- Writing and testing of IT procedures and processes.
- CCTV DVR and application support.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Ability to provide technical support to staff.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, as well as excellent communication skills. Ability to prioritise competing support requirements based on impact to operations.
- Strong Windows server skills (AD, GPO, NTFS Permissions, File & Print Server).
- Experience with server virtualisation.
- Strong TCP/IP networking skills (DHCP, DNS, VPN, routing, firewall rules).
- Testing, diagnosing, and repairing IT hardware.
- Certificate Authorities (Internal and Public).
- Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure/ Entra, InTune user and device management.
