To support our growth and development within Australia, a position has become available for a Part-time Level 2 IT Systems Administrator.
Reporting to the CFO (Matrix Supervisor – Group IT), you will have overall responsibility for the daily operations and maintenance of several organisations IT infrastructure in Australia and in South East Asia (Japan, Vietnam).
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Configuration of the network infrastructure (firewall, switches, VLAN, etc.)
- Field incoming help requests from end-users via telephone, Teams, email, or help desk portal
- Procurement of servers, firewalls, PC’s, laptops, mobile phones and other computer peripherals
- Monitoring and maintaining telephone, computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- General Windows Server & Desktop support
- Managing MS Exchange (both in-house and Office 365)
- Firewall administration
- Troubleshooting network connectivity issues
- Active Directory management
- Setting up and operating remote access and site-to-site VPN
- Monitoring Patches/Backups
- Ensuring all support documentation is maintained and updated
- Very good knowledge about domains and DNS management, Network Security and VPN
- Setup and support mobile devices (Android, iOS)
- Take ownership of tasks and follow through to resolution

The ideal candidate will possess the following key knowledge, skills and experience.
- Microsoft 365 Admin management
- Google Workspace
- Website Hosting Experience using WHM and CPanel
- Virtual Machines, including VMWare, HyperV
- Microsoft Server Administration, including Active Directory and Group Policy
- Network Administration
- Virtual PABX Solutions like Webex
- Current Microsoft / ITIL / Networking certifications are also an advantage
- Very basic Web editing skills via a CMS
- Previous working experience as an IT Help Desk Technician / Onsite Support Engineer Level 2
- Backup management using Veeam
- Endpoint protection tools like CrowdStrike
- RMM Management
- Software distribution using Barramundi
- Experience with Terminal Services
- Hold and maintain a current driver’s licence
