You will never be bored or short of things to do as a System Administrator with NGM. Our team is in the midst of strategic programs, significant cyber-Initiatives, and major infrastructure projects to improve the customer experience and keep their data secure. We are looking for System Administrators to join our skilled and professional Operational Support Team – a team that is delivering award winning banking services to more than half a million Australians.
What will your key responsibilities include?
- Be on the tools supporting a complex IT ecosystem delivering round-the-clock services to our 1600 staff and our half a million customers.
- Help deliver high quality, highly available IT Services as part of a team that proactively manages systems, incidents, changes, and problems. Quality and Process is a priority here!
- Step up and take responsibility for our key IT systems and ownership of your career development.
- Take up the challenge of ensuring our systems are secure and perform for our customers day-in and day-out...non-stop.
What are we looking for?
- Degree in an Information Technology discipline or related qualifications with industry experience in IT.
- Working knowledge of IT systems and management tools and techniques and why they are important in a 24x7 business environment.
- Practical experience in IT service delivery (ITIL) in a corporate environment.
- Experience in Microsoft Windows Server and/or Linux System Administration.
- Exposure to or knowledge of Cloud Based Systems and methodologies such as MS Azure.
- Familiarity with IT Infrastructure elements including Network, SAN, Backup, and security systems.
- Demonstrable ability to identify, analyse and solve problems on your own, or as part of a cross functional team.
- Ability to work in a structured and regulated IT environment.
