Working 100% onsite in our Brisbane office this full time Level 2Onsite IT Service Desk Technician role has the opportunity to support the business nationally and be involved in all aspects of IT. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow your skills as you work alongside a small team of IT professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver consistently high customer service while striving for a high level of first contact resolution.
- Provide first point of contact for LCI Consultants regarding IT incidents, service requests, and enquiries.
- Ensure customers are kept up to date on the status of reported incidents and service requests and ensure all activities are recorded in the service management tool.
- Providing first level/second level IT support (face to face, via telephone and remotely).
- Some travel to our other interstate offices around Australia may be required.
- Policing security in accordance with LCI’s national IT procedures and policies.
- Engaging with software and hardware vendors to request service regarding defective products.
- Providing other ad hoc duties within the capacity and capability of the position.
- Some afterhours work to help with office in different time zones may be required.
- Some weekends on call may be required.
The successful applicant will have:
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated understanding of ITIL processes.
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including but not limited to Windows, Active Directory, Office365, Defender and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of networking (Domain, DNS, DHCP) – CCNA is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Email filtering, Endpoint Management (Intune), Endpoint Security.
- Knowledge of Essential 8 or ISO 27001.
- Knowledge of DFS Management.
- Knowledge of Ubiquity Networks.
- Knowledge of Azure Files.
- Knowledge of Boardrooms AV (Logitech/Crestron).
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
Soft Skills - Communication Style
- Good verbal and communication engagement skills.
- Proactive approach in resolving issues.
- General problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requests at different times.
Will be Advantageous/Nice to Have
- Industry Knowledge (Architectural or engineering consultant environment).
- Bachelors in IT degree from a recognised University.
