Liaison Officer required for Lord Mayor's Office

Are you an administrative dynamo with a strong eye for detail? We have an exciting opportunity for a Liaison Officer within the Lord Mayor’s Office in the City of Hobart. This position is a parental leave cover, starting ASAP and continuing until December 2024 (with potential for extension). Hays Recruitment is assisting the City of Hobart in the recruitment process.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities:
- Correspondence Coordination:
Independently write responses to enquiries or concerns. - Briefing Materials:
Research and develop briefing materials for meetings, speeches, events, and functions. - Record Keeping:
Maintain corporate records in accordance with Council policies. - Special Projects:
Coordinate a broad range of events and forums.
Advanced Diploma in Business/Public Administration or similar.
Minimum 3 years providing administrative support to elected officials or senior executives.
Operate with a strict level of confidentiality.
3 DAYS per week until December 2024.
You will receive the security of a long-term temp assignment, with a competitive hourly rate for the successful applicant.
