The successful candidate will be an admin. dynamo and operate with a sense of urgency having a strong eye for detail, while maintaining a strict level of confidentiality.
Ideally, you will have an Advanced Diploma in a Business/Public Administration field, or similar, coupled with several years of experience providing administrative support to elected officials or senior executives, or other formal qualifications in the related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience or a similar industry.
Some of your main functions for the role will be to:
- Coordinate and monitor correspondence including independently writing responses to enquiries or concerns.
- Research and develop briefing materials for meetings, speeches, events and functions.
- Maintain corporate records in line with Council policies and procedures.
- Coordinate special projects including a broad range of events and forums.
Role Information
Hours per week: 3 Days Per Week (0.6 FTE) until 20 December 2024 (with possibility of extension). This is a Parental Leave cover position.

Salary: Hourly Rate $52.16 which is inclusive of casual loading + 12.5% superannuation.
