Qualifications and Licenses:
- Cert 3 or 4 Landscape Construction
- Landscape Construction Contractor Licence NSW
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery: runs the implementation of projects
- Complete awareness of the ongoing requirements of projects: Specified implementation items, unique considerations, client requests, project challenges/solutions and scope changes etc.
- Set appropriate project workflows and checkpoints: Determine and deliver on pre-set priorities and weekly/daily plans.
- Proactively determine specific resource requirements: Supply, human, equipment, vehicles + waste management.
- Lead and complete landscape transformation activities: Control and complete activities, deadlines, quality and methodologies.
- Achieving great project outcomes for clients - ensuring true quality: Exceeding expectations, meeting compliance regulations, excellent appearance and quality finish, long-lasting workmanship.
- Resource Estimation: supply and labour estimations
- Highly available to discuss project requirements with staff and clients.
- Inspections: on-site visits, photographs, descriptions.
- Liaising with current clients, prospects, or the company to understand the individual tasks or overall project needs.
- Liaising with suppliers and contractors for estimations.
- Assess resource requirements; labour, supply, waste, external.
- Labour: number, hours, skill.
- Supply: specifics, quantity, cost/unit, contingency.
- Waste: bin, trailer, or other requirements.
- External: contractor quotes.
- Accurately estimate requirements - providing either rough or precise estimations as required by the company.
- Completed within the urgency timeline set by the company.
- Sub-activities within this role:
- Anticipating bottlenecks, challenges, risks - reasonably accounting for them into the project scope, or proactively providing solutions to overcome them.
- Ongoing review and refine estimations - improving accuracy by tracking estimation VS actual outcomes.
- Forming standardised estimations - regarding supplies, labour for common activities - including; decking, fencing, paving etc.
- Skills: Hard skills: decking, paving, fencing, painting, retaining walls, drainage, other structures (e.g. pergola, benches). Soft skills: communication, labour and supply estimation, organisation
Hours : 7:30-3:30 Monday-Friday, 7:30-12 Saturday (also to be available outside hours to for communications, estimations etc)
Casual or Full Time basis ranging from $45-$55 p/hr.
