Position Overview:
Day & Night shifts are required throughout the week within a Supported Independent Living arrangement.
- Day shifts from 6am to 2pm
- Afternoon shifts from 2pm to 6pm
- Evening shifts with sleepovers from 6pm to 6am.
A typical day might involve assisting clients with their daily general activities, including personal care and meal preparation, while also facilitating community access and engagement in goal-oriented activities.
Implementing approved behaviour support strategies to address challenging behaviours and maintain communication with your team to ensure holistic care and progress towards individualised goals.
Throughout the day, you will prioritise the client's autonomy, dignity, and overall well-being, fostering a supportive environment that empowers clients to achieve their fullest potential.

Requirements:
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care) or Community Services or willingness to actively complete.
- Working with Children Check (Paid status) or willingness to obtain.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Paid status) or willingness to obtain.
- QLD Australian C Class Driver’s License with comprehensive car insurance and registration.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates or willingness to obtain.
Training that will be provided:
- Hope and Healing and NDS eTrainU.
- Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI).
- Other relevant learning to perform the role.
