Lift Mechanical Engineer

We offer our clients a wide selection of standard and fully customizable designs to suit the most demanding of architectural specifications.  We also customise our clients’ elevator’s ceilings, lighting, doors, walls, handrails, entrances, signal fixtures and accessories, in their choice of styles, finishes, colours and materials.

To be considered for this opportunity, the right person will have:

• A Master Degree of Mechanical Engineering or closely relevant.
• At least 5-year work experience in mechanical designs, installations, and maintenance.
• Prefer candidates with R&D experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5-year team management experience.
• Significant experience in a design engineering or project engineering role.
• A genuine passion for Mechanical Engineering and problem solving.
• Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and foster collaborative relationships.
• Strong competency in English and Mandarin, effective report writing skills, and computer proficient.
• Exposure to digital tools/coding/data handling (e.g using Python, Matlab, Abaqus) will be viewed favourably.

Job Duties:

• Plan and design customized lift and elevator solutions based on client needs and requirements. Assessing client requirements and providing technical support and advice to ensure that the design solutions for mechanical structures, drive systems, control systems, etc., meet safety standards, performance requirements, and customer needs.
• Supervise the elevator system layout drawings, concept drawings, installation, debugging, and inspection of mechanical equipment and scopes of work for completion to ensure that the work quality meets standards and satisfies customer requirements.
• Oversee the assembly, erection, and installation of elevator components and systems. 
• Commission elevator systems to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Provide guidance and supervision during the operation and maintenance of elevator installations.
• Conduct regular inspections and performance evaluations of elevator systems to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for elevator malfunctions or issues.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. 
• Write relevant technical documents and reports, record the design, installation, maintenance, and repair status of elevators, and regularly report work progress and feedback on issues to management to ensure smooth project execution.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in elevator design and technology.

Salary: $100,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year plus superannuation
