What we do
As a founder lead, privately owned business with operations across the Pilbara and Goldfields, Linkforce provides maintenance shutdown services and project delivery services to the mining, industrial, telecommunications and energy markets.
Due to company growth we are seeking a Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our Operations team on a full-time, permanent basis on a salary of $100,500 per annum. Salaries are based on 38 hours per week, however you will be paid for all hours worked.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide routine servicing to fleet vehicles and equipment
- Perform defect repair work on a variety of vehicles, including troubleshooting mechanical problems
- Provide accurate information to update the maintenance information system
- Follow and complete all required reports correctly
- Monitor the environment and report to the Line Manager on an ongoing basis regarding status of vehicles and equipment
- Understand all relevant policies, procedures and legislative obligations
- Take corrective action where necessary in response to reported defects
- Work in accordance with the maintenance department HSEQ plans which focus on all aspects of the HSEQ system
- Carry out work in accordance with statutory requirements
- Identify and report potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions
- Australian recognised Automotive Trade Certificate
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Ability to service, diagnose and repair equipment.
- Excellent communications and organisational skills
- Previous FIFO or mine site experience
- White card
